Interview with Shane Reddish – Wild Stone UK sales Director
Q - Shane, firstly congratulations on winning an award for best stand at Kent construction Expo. What have been the highs and lows for Wild Stone this Year.
It has been a great year and a great show for Wild Stone – the interest in the product has grown and grown. With a big emphasis on introducing innovative new products to help the industry save on time and costs; Wild Stone has been able to meet those needs head on and we feel this is just the beginning.
Q - How are you coping with the supply and demand side of the business, some business are struggling to meet schedules and requirement in these unprecedented times.
We have a very solid supply chain and are also introducing new products all the time to make sure that we are prepared for the worst. We have a very experienced team who have had the foresight to plan for times such as these, and we continue to grow.
Q - What is the winning ingredient of Wild Stones success.
Our strength and success lies in a number of different areas. Firstly, we have a great product that has already been proven throughout Europe. It looks great, we have some fantastic colours and textures and we have the choice of both natural and lightweight engineered products. We also have a great back office and solid supply chain, so we don’t let anybody down. In fact in the last 12 month we have had a surprising number of our competitors clients come to us because of supply issues.
Q - What makes Wild Stone special
Wild Stone is a complete system, available as panels or stones that can be used jointed or unjointed. It is lightweight, particularly the engineered range and is fast and easy to install. It requires no specialist skills to lay and produces a finish equal to any natural product, what’s not to like.
